CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle yet powerful technique that is effective in releasing neck pain, back pain, and mental stress (among other things). It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine and around the skull. Developed by John Upledger, D.O. this therapy involves a light-touch technique that causes subtle self- corrections by the body's tissues. Chronic problems normally require multiple sessions.

Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy, and strengthened resistance to illness.

Post Trauma Recovery

This modality is a theraputic process designed to rid the body of the residual effects of past injuries and negative experiences, held in the memory of body cells. The client needs to be aware that this process will need to occur over the course of  multiple sessions,as the client's body dictates. The session is conducted in similar manner to CranialSacral using gentle touch and client is fully clothed.

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.

Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.

Respiratory Relief

A blend of therapies including shiatsu, reflexology, and lymphatic drainage airned at freeing the restrictions of the lungs and nasal passages to promote better breathing and healing.

Hot Stone Therapy

Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated and massaged with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.

TMJ Syndrome Release

This modality is designed to help patients with migraines, ear pain, teeth grinding, jaw pain as a result of trauma to the head or face. The technique is carried out with the patient clothed, and gentle touch in the mouth with non latex gloves. The session is usually started with neck work, then moves to inside cheek and upper teeth. If the condition is chronic, several sessions are recommended to complete the release.
